1) gurudeva! kṛpā-bindu diyā, kara’ ei dāse, tṛṇāpekhā ati hīna sakala sahane, bala diyā koro’, nija-māne spṛhā-hīna
2) sakale sammāna, korite śakati, deho’ nātha! jathājatha tabe to’ gāibo, hari-nāma sukhe, aparādha ha’be hata
3) kabe heno kṛpā, labhiyā e jana, kṛtārtha hoibe, nātha! śakti-buddhi-hīna, āmi ati dīna, kara’ more ātma-sātha
4) jogyatā-vicāre, kichu nāhi pāi, tomāra karuṇā sāra karuṇā nā hoile, kāṅdiyā kāṅdiyā, prāṇa nā rākhibo āra
English rendition
Gurudeva! Droplets of your mercy render your servant as humble as grass that we walk on. Please let him tolerate every distraction, his passion for honor forgotten.
Master, instead please allow me to honor all others as they are deserving. Then my offenses shall be decimated, my pleasure in chanting unswerving.
Master, O when will this soul be fulfilled by accepting the mercy that you’ve shown? Stressed and devoid of all wisdom and strength, I implore you to take me as your own.
Checking my fitness for your precious mercy, I seem to have nothing worth giving. Weeping, I see that without your compassion, I lack any reason for living.
