1) bhāi-re! śarīra abidyā-jāl, joḍendriya tāhe kāl, jīve phele viṣaya-sāgore
2) tā’ra madhye jihwā ati, lobhamoy sudurmati, tā’ke jetā kaṭhina saḿsāre
3) kṛṣṇa boro doyāmoy, koribāre jihwā jay, swa-prasād-anna dilo bhāi
4) sei annāmṛta pāo, rādhā-kṛṣṇa-guṇa gāo, preme ḍāko caitanya-nitāi
English rendition
1) My friends! Bodies cast from ignorance, fraught with lust in every sense, plunge us in the sea of death and birth.
2) Of the senses, lusty tongues rarely can be overcome while the soul is struggling on this Earth.
3) Krishna is so merciful He helps us regain control, leaving remnants after He has dined.
4) Let us take what He has left, calling loudly, feeling blessed, ‘Rādhā Krishna! Caitanya Nitāi!’
