English rendition
1) As I chant, “Gaurāńga,” when will shivering arise? As I chant, “Hari, Hari,” when will tears fill my eyes?
2) When will moonlike Nityānanda kindly glance and bless me? When will worldly happenings no longer impress me?
3) Giving up desires, will my mind at last be calm? When will I behold the sight of Srī Vṛndāvan dhām?
4) When will Rūpa-Raghunātha’s lotus feet absorb me? Only then will Rādhā-Krishna’s pastimes come before me.
5) Rūpa-Raghunātha’s feet are now the only place Narottama dās finds hope and thus forever prays.
