Lord Nṛsiḿha, I bow to you, who gives Prahlād unending bliss. You kill Hiraṇyakaśipu with chisel nails on his stone-like chest.
Nṛsiṁha is here and Nṛsiṁha is there. Nṛsiṁha is with me when I’m anywhere. Nṛsiṁha without and Nṛsiṁha within. Nṛsiṁha is first. I surrender to Him.
Your soft lotus hands have sharpened nails, my Lord, and You employ them on the wasp Hiraṇyakaśipu to destroy him. Krishna descends as half-man and half-lion. Jaya Jagadīśa Hari! Jaya Jagadīśa Hari! Jaya Jagadīśa Hari! (All glories to Lord Hari, the Lord of the universe.)
