1) śrī-guru-caraṇa-padma, kevala-bhakati-sadma, bando mui sāvadhāna mate jāhāra prasāde bhāi, e bhava toriyā jāi, kṛṣṇa-prāpti hoy jāhā ha’te
2) guru-mukha-padma-vākya, cittete koribo aikya, ār nā koriho mane āśā śrī-guru-caraṇe rati, ei se uttama-gati, je prasāde pūre sarva āśā
3) cakhu-dān dilo jei, janme janme prabhu sei, divya jñān hṛde prokāśito prema-bhakti jāhā hoite, avidyā vināśa jāte, vede gāy jāhāra carito
4) śrī-guru karuṇā-sindhu, adhama janāra bandhu, lokanāth lokera jīvana hā hā prabhu koro doyā, deho more pada-chāyā, ebe jaśa ghuṣuk tribhuvana (Prabhupāda patita-pāvana!)
English rendition
1) The lotus feet of my guru are bhakti’s exclusive refuge. I bow down to them with awe and care. His mercy, my friends, will take us where birth and death cannot shake us. Krishna’s kindly glance awaits us there.
2) His lotus-like lessons impart devotion deep into my heart. Hearing him is all that I require. To joyfully serve at his feet makes my aspirations complete. His mercy fulfills all my desires.
3) He opens our darkened eyes and guides us through our many lives and fills our hearts with transcendental knowledge. Emanating ecstasy, he ends my foolish fantasies. All the Vedic scriptures sing his homage.
4) My guru, a sea of grace, is such a friend to the displaced that he can train them to be pure devotees. Master, please have mercy on me. Your feet are my sanctuary. May the three worlds celebrate your glories. (Śrīla Prabhupāda, the savior of the fallen!)
